Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) organized a farewell program on September 3, 2024, to honor its outgoing Vice Chairperson, Mr. Khagendra Prasad Adhikari. The event took place at the NSTB Meeting Hall, CTEVT, where directors, trade union representatives, and other staff gathered to bid farewell to Mr. Adhikari.

During the program, Er. Mahesh Bhattarai, Member Secretary of CTEVT, presented Mr. Adhikari with a token of love and wished him continued success in the future. Similarly, Mr. Tek Bahadur Malla, Director of NSTB, expressed his gratitude for Mr. Adhikari's leadership and extended his best wishes for his future endeavors.

In his farewell speech, Mr. Adhikari reflected on his tenure, emphasizing his efforts to advance Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Nepal. He highlighted key achievements during his time in office and underscored the importance of unity within the organization. "Unity is strength, and CTEVT can achieve more if we work together," he stated. He also committed to continue supporting CTEVT from outside in the future. Mr. Adhikari expressed his gratitude to all CTEVT staff and stakeholders for their constructive support during his tenure.

In accordance with the CTEVT Act, 2045, Mr. Khagendra Prasad Adhikari was appointed as the Vice Chairperson of CTEVT on 2077 Asar 2 by the Government of Nepal. As the tenure of the Vice Chairperson is four years, Mr. Adhikari completed his term on 2081 Asar 2.
